Frequently asked questions
What does an ATS actually reject a resume for?
Mostly parsing failures and keyword mismatch. Tables, text boxes, headers containing contact details, and graphics can all scramble what the system extracts. If the extracted text does not contain the language of the job posting, the ranking drops before a recruiter ever looks.
Does Resume Radar store my resume?
No. The check runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or sent to a server.
Is this only for jobs in Korea?
No. The five checks apply to any English-language resume anywhere. There are additional notes for Korea-based applicants because English resumes in Korea face some specific parsing and convention issues, which I cover in the blog.
